1. Can I get botox/filler around the time of my facial?
Yes, however, you will need to get your facial PRIOR to any injections. If not, you will need to wait 2 weeks before getting your facial.
2. What should I know before my facial?
Be sure to stop any topical retinols/retinoids/retin-A 7+ days before your facial.
3. What if I use/have used Accutane?
If you have been on Accutane in
the last year or are currently going through treatment we cannot perform any service to you.
4. How do you determine what facial treatments are best for my skin?
After a consultation we can determine which products will suit your skin. Let your esthetician know if you have allergies Or are taking medications.
5. What skincare treatments do you offer?
I offer different level facials for the purpose of best results. Someone new to facials needs to build up to more intense treatments to prevent damage to the skin. I have many options for each level and can accommodate many skin types and conditions.
6. What take home products do you recommend?
Everybody should be using a cleanser, vitamin C, eye cream and sunscreen for the day. The night routine is similar, cleanse, custom serum, eye cream and moisturizer. I can put together a product recommendation for you after your facial.
7. How often should I get a facial?
In general, estheticians recommend a facial every three to four weeks- which is how long the skin’s life cycle is.
8. What is your training and expertise?
While all licensed estheticians are all required to fulfill certain educational and hands-on experience, they haven’t all had the same training or expertise. A good esthetician will ask lots of questions. Gather specific information to determine the most effective treatments and protocols based on your needs.
